GIVING FAQs

What is e-giving?

e-Giving is short for electronic giving. It is an automatic transfer program that allows you to make contributions without writing checks.

How do I keep my checkbook balanced?

You will receive an email from PayPal or Vineyard Church Delaware County each time there is activity on your account. You can note the deduction in your check register after receiving the email confirmation.

How is my contribution deducted from my account?

You decide. In your PayPal or our e360 Giving, online donations account you can set up Reoccurring Payments from a designated account (checking or savings) to repeat monthly. You can decide to make a one-time donation using a Credit Card or Bank Account debit OR you can determine each month how much you’d like to give and when. It’s completely up to you.

How much does e-Giving cost?

It costs nothing to you and may even save you time and money. The church incurs a small administrative processing fee for the service and with our new e360 Giving platform you now have the option to cover the fee that the church would incur. Check with your local bank to see if there are charges associated with your account(s).

Is it safe?

PayPal and our e360 Giving online donations protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal or e360 Giving, your financial information is not shared with the merchant. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for this transaction.

Can I use a Credit Card?

This is a very important question. The simple answer --Yes! However, we want to promote good stewardship principles above the convenience of online giving. If you have difficulty managing your credit card spending, we encourage you not to tithe or give this way. Many people use credit cards to pay bills and accumulate bonus points or miles while still paying off the entire balance each month. If you are unable to do that - don’t give on credit!

Can I use a Check?

Yes. Please make checks payable to Vineyard Church Delaware County. Checks may be dropped off during the service, in the communications box located in the lobby, the giving boxes located on the back wall of the Auditorium or mailed to the address below:
